Congregational Leadership Team (CLT)

The role of the Congregational Leadership Team is to formulate and articulate vision for the congregation and give guidance and discernment on issues of congregational life and doctrine. Members of the CLT are nominated and affirmed by the congregation.  This group meets monthly with the pastoral team.

Worship Commission

The worship commission plans Sunday services and other special events throughout the church calendar year, organizing worship leaders, musicians, and other participants.

Stewardship Commission

The Stewardship Commission at Zion Mennonite Church provides oversight to the church’s finances and provides council for maintaining the grounds, building, and cemetery.

Outreach and Service Commission

Zion Mennonite Church supports a number of missionaries and volunteer service workers locally and abroad.  Throughout the year, ZMC partners with groups such as Mennonite Central Committee, Mennonite Disaster Service, and other local organizations to extend God’s love and peace to neighbors near and far.

In an effort to provide and opportunity for the Daphna Community to fellowship together, we host the Daphna Picnic event with live music and a meal annually in August or September.  ZMC co-hosts Vacation Bible School with Trissels Mennonite Church each year for children in the community.

Care Commission:

Members of the Care Commission provide “hands on” care giving and oversee the broader care giving of the church and members within.
